Karsus' Avatar is a Rank 8 Magus spell — and simultaneously a Rank 12 Arcane spell by the standards of the World of Gods — that allows its caster to substitute the Weave Goddess and seize direct control of the Weave itself. == Origin == The spell takes its name from Karsus — an ancient arcanist of extraordinary ability who, according to the lore of the World of Gods, was the first to conceive of and attempt to use it. Karsus represents the apex of arcanist ambition: a practitioner who refused to accept the divine ceiling imposed on mortal magic and reached for something no mortal was supposed to touch.
