Description

Field commander of the first punitive force against House Norton. The campaign was annihilated, Chevany's body returned to Viscount Kemmes by Sedekamp as part of the post-battle settlement; the duke confiscated his family's property in fury.

Background

A silver knight of Duke Lukins's Northern Corps and deputy commander of the Northern Legion. Henned served under him, which is why Henned later did not look down on the lowborn Camora, unlike the gold knight Tabek.

Story

Field commander of Duke Lukins's first punitive expedition against House Norton (ch 133). The duke lured him together with Henned through a slave-trader by promising a consignment of slave-girls, and sent them with four thousand men to crush the returned Lorist.

The campaign was annihilated: Chevany was killed, Henned captured. Sedekamp later returned Chevany's body to Viscount Kemmes as part of the post-battle settlement. Enraged by the defeat, the duke confiscated the Chevany family's property and turned them out to beg — and Baron Camora secretly saved them by spiriting them out of the Northern Lands.
