Men Nan
Description
Men Nan is the main persona of the specter bound to the Third Sick Hall. He was the first to discover the door there: at the age of five he promised Doctor Chen that he would guard it, then entered and, closing the door behind him, made the space beyond it his own world. In his human life he was a psychology student at Western Jiujiang Medical University and the occupant of Room 304 at Hai Ming Apartments.
He appears as an innocent three-year-old child in blindingly red clothes, with a blanched face and empty holes where his eyes should be. Over the years his consciousness has merged with the building behind the door, giving him perfect control over everything inside it. Outsiders cannot kill him, only weaken him and make him sleep, or influence him by harming his second persona.
Men Nan is regarded as the weakest of the Red Specters because of his low resentment, but that very trait grants him a high level of intelligence. In time he becomes one of Chen Ge's allies.
