Bidd

Bidd is a young beastfolk explorer of the rabbit-people (兎人種), 16 years old and originally introduced as a Rank IV (later Rank III) adventurer. She has black hair, blue eyes, and freckles, with Holland-lop rabbit ears that droop from her head and a small round white tail. She favors light gear: a leather gauntlet on her right arm, a blue jumper (a treasured hand-me-down from Riv that she calls a 'badge of comradeship'), a yellow or black shirt, and tight spats-like leggings. Her habit of ending nearly every sentence with the verbal tic '~ssu' gives her a breezy, informal manner, and she is generally warm, easygoing, and quick to laugh, though she can turn cold and businesslike toward thugs and predatory men.

In combat Bidd is a ranged suppression specialist, firing from a short bow or crossbow. Her Relic 【Area Shot】(範囲射撃) splits a single arrow into a spray of many, letting her rake groups of enemies or precisely pierce the multiple, randomly placed 'cores' of water-spirit and reptilian monsters at once. She prizes control and volume of fire over pinpoint accuracy, functioning like a living machine gun that pins foes for her front-line allies. She also carries the Relic 【Nimble】(身軽) for evasive footwork, and later takes up a sword called the 'Fleetfoot Sword' (瞬足剣), whose dashing strikes let her blink behind opponents and cut them down; she proves a capable close-quarters fighter as well when the situation demands.

Bidd first appears during the Crown of the Wonderland arc, hurled into the depths of a ruined dungeon alongside Riv, Lupinus, and Pakira after a dungeon-lord's chaos scatters both their parties. There she meets the protagonist Wof, whom she affectionately dubs 'Wof-kun.' At the time she belonged to the up-and-coming party 'Zan Brave,' but that group soon collapses: after members Kurton and Romomo marry and retire from adventuring, the heartbroken leader Eijis dissolves the party. Shaken and adrift, Bidd turns to the Torquetum women for support; though invited to join their guild, she chooses to go solo for a time while living in the party house that becomes Torquetum's base.

As the story continues, Bidd becomes one of Wof's steadiest friends and companions, guiding him through dungeon floors, teaching him about monsters and boats, and fighting at his side against foes like the Water-Spirit Dancer. She grows close to him personally—fishing together, teasing him, and even making advances during her heat—and Hoss/Torquetum eventually float the idea of Bidd forming a permanent party with Wof and Mineha. She also fights alongside Shardina, Munieka, and Haiyaan on various jobs, and dotes on Wof's shapeshifting knife-familiar Dagaa, who often perches on her lap.
