Twisting the Arm of Fate with Cheat Magic

After six years mastering the forbidden VR-RPG Irulande and reaching the near-impossible sixth rank, a young man learns from the Goddess of Fate that the game was a simulation of a real world and that he is a homunculus grown to be a hero's vessel. Reborn as Souji, carrying the magic of hundreds of thousands of players, he enters the Knight Academy of Erin.

There he meets Kuuna, a runaway Fire-Fox prodigy, and Anne, daughter of a wrongly executed duke. Forming the party Magic Sword Tail, he descends the living labyrinth, uncovers their secrets, and enters a polygamous engagement with both while rising through the ranks.

As the failing Seal of Erna threatens the world and enemies hunt Kuuna's heart to repair it, the Goddess reveals the true foe: the God of Miasma. Souji must slay it so the seal becomes needless and Kuuna is freed, and the party prepares for the final dungeon.
