Kuuna is a sixteen-year-old Fire-Fox of the highest Golden rank: a blonde with fox ears and tail, the youngest of five, daughter of Syril and the fox Ku, and effectively the singing princess of Erushie. She fled an arranged marriage and hides her ears and tail, since foxes are prized as slaves; her tail is her very life, touchable only by kin or a lover.
A genius of spiritual fire magic wielding the mythic Red Sky daggers, she carries channels her father deliberately damaged to restrain her. She is truly the legendary Nine-Tailed Fire-Fox; Souji brought her back from her first loss of control. She becomes his fiancée and accepts Anne, and is hunted because her heart alone can repair the Seal of Erna.
