Zack

Zack is a minor character from the early academy stage of Warlock of the Magus World, appearing alongside Leylin during his training as a First-Rank Wizard Apprentice. He belongs to the same group of novice Apprentices as the protagonist: together they attend the introductory classes of the instructor Guofate, devoted to mana, Spell Models, and the basic principles of sorcery, accessible only after advancing to the Second Rank. Zack turns up in episodes tied to the everyday life of the academy - the dormitory, working in the library with spellbooks such as Hand of Shadow, and preparations for the first practical outings. In this context he serves as part of the backdrop that contrasts with Leylin's cautious, calculating path: while the latter relies on the knowledge of the Method and prepares to join Kreveir's squad, Zack remains just another ordinary student of the academy, whose fate never reaches beyond the bounds of the early arc nor intersects with the secrets Leylin so jealously guards.
