Gus

Gus is a burly young man who studies at the Magus Academy alongside Fan Min. His appearance is marked by bushy eyebrows, expressive eyes, a high, straight nose, and striking golden hair. Despite his youthful-looking face, his build is already fully masculine: a robust body and well-defined musculature reveal someone accustomed to physical exertion. His character is open and boisterous—he greets the newly awakened Fan Min with a broad smile and hearty laughter, naturally adopting a cordial tone. He also knows George, who, when Gus is mentioned, complains that Gus never stops pressing him about an old debt—a detail that portrays him as a direct, tenacious man who has no qualms about defending his own interests. Appearing in the early chapters and returning episodically in later ones, he remains part of Fan Min's close circle of fellow students.
