"Really? Then why is your hand still gripping the hilt?"
Leilin Farell slowly stood up.
"The secrets of the powerful must not be heard by anyone!!" The leader slowly drew his long sword. "And you are injured, which is why you cannot fight!"
"Cough... cough..." Leilin coughed weakly: "A very accurate analysis! It seems you are determined to kill me today? I can swear I will absolutely not reveal what happened today!"
"Only the dead keep secrets!" the leader roared, slashing a brilliant arc of sword light at Leilin.
Leilin dodged clumsily.
A look of triumph crossed the leader's face as his muscles bulged, ready to charge, but suddenly his expression changed and he stumbled back several steps.
Behind him, the militia and the girl had all collapsed to the ground, only their eyes still moving.
"You actually used poison!!" the leader roared in fury and shock.
"As expected of a Knight, you still have the strength to resist!" Leilin nodded. Although he could kill this group by force with his current strength, why not use a more convenient method?
The leader dropped his long sword and ran back, his speed surprisingly still comparable to an ordinary person's.
"To have this speed even while poisoned, not bad!" Leilin commented calmly.
He then raised his crossbow: "Chip! Calculate wind force and humidity! Adjust the trajectory!"
Pssht!!! A black line shot through the Knight's chest. The Knight, looking at the arrow that had pierced through his back and emerged from his front, dripping with blood, fell to the ground with a look of disbelief.
Leilin walked up to the girl, looked down at her, and tossed a packet of powder into her mouth. A moment later, the girl stood up and stretched her body.
"Are you... a Wizard?" the girl asked, her eyes full of curiosity.
"No! Just an apothecary. Help me move them over here and deal with them!" Leilin pointed at the militia lying on the ground.
"Why don't you do it?" the girl pouted, but still moved the paralyzed militia over, and also carried the bodies of the Knight leader and the big man to the side.
Then, a cold glint flashed in the girl's eyes. She drew a dagger from her bosom and stabbed the immobilized militia one by one.
Throughout this process, Leilin watched coldly as the girl killed those who had been chasing her.
"You must be a Wizard!" the girl said with certainty.
"If you help me take revenge, I can give you all my family's treasures. There is a Wizard's treasure among them, and I am also yours!"
As she spoke, the girl began to undress.
"Does your family really have a Wizard's treasure?" Leilin's expression was somewhat amused.
"I swear by my family's name!" the girl said firmly.
"Analyzing! Target's blood flow accelerated, brain waves show characteristic fluctuations: probability of lying 93.3%"
Looking at the Chip's conclusion, Leilin shook his head.
"Get lost!"
"What?" The girl was visibly surprised. "Don't you want me? My family has a lot of wealth, whatever you want..."
"Have you been reading too many Knight novels?" Leilin interrupted her.
"In a dense jungle, an adventurer meets a fleeing princess and helps her take revenge. They go through a series of difficult adventures and defeat the enemy. The adventurer obtains treasure and the princess's love, and they live happily ever after together!"
Leilin hummed in the tone of a bard.
"With nothing but empty promises, and at most your body, you want me to help you take revenge on a powerful force that controls a Viscount's territory? Do I look like a fool to you?"
"But..." The girl clearly wanted to protest.
"Get out!" Leilin shouted.
The girl stood up helplessly, a flash of resentment in her eyes, and was about to leave.
"Wait!" After the girl had turned and taken a few steps, Leilin's voice came.
The girl was delighted in her heart and turned around.
Pssht!!! A crossbow bolt pierced the girl's beautiful face, pinning her to the tree behind her.
"I could have let you go, but I saw the resentment in your eyes!" Leilin sighed slowly. "For those who protected you and followed you, you didn't even bother to collect their bodies before leaving, showing how cold-hearted you are!"
"Furthermore, to take revenge on your original enemies, and also to get back at me, you would definitely spread today's events far and wide. I'm not afraid of trouble, but I hate trouble..."
"Tell me, with so many reasons, how could I let you go?"
Leilin pulled out the bolt and piled the girl's lifeless body with the others.
He took out a tube of yellow potion from his backpack and poured it on one of the corpses. Sizzle!!! The corpse quickly decayed, melting into a puddle of yellow pus.
Leilin then repeated the process, destroying all the other bodies.
