Distorted Shadow

The Distorted Shadow is the lingering spiritual will of a peak rank-8 Magus who comprehended the Law of Distortion. His remnant intent survived inside an ancient arcanist pocket-dimension, where it mutated into a parasitic, mind-twisting entity. It controlled the dimensional instability, created distortion creatures, and infected intruders. Leylin encounters him deep within the ruins and barely escapes the collapsing dimension after destroying one of its manifested parasites. Distorted Shadow is one of the last antagonists Leylin Farlier confronts in the novel. His exact origin, as well as his genuine appearance, are both unknown.
