Lucien Evans

Description

Lucien Evans is the protagonist of Throne of Magical Arcana, defined by his dual identity as a celebrated musician and a powerful sorcerer. Born in Aderon, the poorest district of the city of Aalto, the original Lucien was an orphan raised by his uncle Joel and aunt Alisa Wesley. After he witnessed the brutal public execution of a sorceress, the boy he had been died, and his body was taken over by Xiafeng, a university student from Earth who carried the knowledge and perspective of the modern world.

Armed with that outside knowledge, Lucien first made his name in music, composing acclaimed works such as "Fur Silvia" and the "Symphony of Fate" and earning appointment as personal music consultant to Princess Natasha Orvarit. That noble connection gave him both influence and protection as he pursued his true fascination - magic. Rising swiftly within the Congress of Magic and onto the Arcana Review Board, he mastered both elemental and necromantic sorcery and put forward the revolutionary light-quantum hypothesis, collecting honors such as the Holm Crown Prize, the Immortal Throne Award and the Arcana Scepter Award.

The fusion of the shy, inexperienced Xiafeng with the harsh realities of a world that fears and persecutes magic forged a mature, rational and calculating man - strategic and ruthless toward his enemies, yet playful, warm and fiercely loyal to those he loves. Behind a wall of aliases, above all "the Professor," he guards his double life while advancing both his art and his arcane theories, ultimately marrying Natasha Orvarit.
