Description
The Haneabada slaver island-kingdom unites eighty slave-catcher bands and seizes the Nortons' Whale Island (Hilowas Island), carrying off its people and capturing Fatty Shi. Lorist discovers his old slave-retainer Enjerek has secretly become the family's first Great Swordmaster, and outfits an overseas campaign of vengeance.
Thirty-seven thousand Norton troops land on the archipelago. In the arena of the capital Hamidas, Lorist and rebel gladiator-slaves stage a sabotage, wiping out the twenty-thousand-strong Redemption Legion in a single night. On 13 October the capital falls and King Ludwig III burns himself alive — the Haneabada slaver kingdom is destroyed.
