Description
Подземелье Пхёнтэк (Pyeongtaek Dungeon) is a high-level gate that manifested in the city of Pyeongtaek, South Korea. Unlike ordinary dungeons, this one was directly linked to the Demon Realm, causing an influx of demonic creatures into the human world.
The dungeon became infamous after the Black Tortoise Guild's 2nd Management Division entered to investigate. The team encountered a Transcended Intermediate Demon, an exceptionally powerful entity that overwhelmed many of the Hunters, resulting in heavy casualties and a desperate struggle for survival.
Among the notable figures connected to the incident were Lim Do-Gyu and the demon noble Esil Radiru. Their involvement, alongside the intervention of the Korean Hunters Association, ultimately led to the dungeon being assessed and later cleared, though the full extent of the demonic connection remained a concern.
The Pyeongtaek Dungeon marked a significant point in the Demon Realm arc, as it exposed the growing threat of demonic gates and set the stage for further incursions. Its aftermath prompted a re-evaluation of gate management and the dangers posed by otherworldly dimensions.
