Description

The Penalty Zone is a punishment dimension activated by the System when the Player fails to complete their Daily Quest. It serves as a compulsory trial, teleporting the Player to a hostile desert wasteland.

The zone is an endless barren desert with no wind, no sun, no moon, and no stars. It lacks any natural light or landmarks, making navigation and orientation nearly impossible.

The wasteland is infested with Poison-fanged Giant Sand Centipedes — massive, aggressive creatures that actively hunt the Player. Their venomous fangs and sheer size pose a lethal threat.

The Player must survive in this environment for four full hours. If they merely endure and avoid combat, the zone's difficulty remains static. However, if the Player attempts to hunt the centipedes, the zone dynamically readjusts its danger level, spawning more or tougher enemies, thus escalating the challenge.

The Penalty Zone's true purpose is to enforce the System's discipline and reinforce the importance of completing daily tasks. It traumatized the Player early in his journey, serving as a grim reminder of the System's unforgiving nature.

Though the zone is only accessible upon failure, it played a crucial role in the Player's mental fortitude and growth, pushing him to become stronger and never miss a Daily Quest again.
