Clerics of the Seven Luminaries
Description
The Clerics of the Seven Luminaries, or simply the Seven Luminaries, were the highest advisors of the Western Holy Church — seven legendary figures, each surpassing an ordinary Enlightened in strength, who hid from public view and were remembered almost as fairy tales.
Empowered by Demon Lord Luminous with long lifespans in exchange for service, they oversaw the Church's orders, trained knights and Chosen Heroes, and created the "Trials of the Seven Luminaries" that Hinata once passed. In secret, however, they sabotaged rising talents they feared, even sending the cardinal Adalmann and paladin Albert to their deaths.
Fearing the loss of Luminous's favor, they forged a challenge to lure Hinata into a duel with Rimuru, supplied her with the rigged sword Dragon Buster, and manipulated a Saint into attacking Tempest. Their plot exposed, most of them were destroyed by Diablo, Nikolaus and Luminous herself, though their leader survived.
