Benimaru

Benimaru is one of the strongest majin in Rimuru's service and his effective right-hand man. He serves as Minister of Defense of the Jura-Tempest Federation and its Commander-in-Chief in wartime, leads Rimuru's "Big Four," and is counted among both the Twelve Guardian Lords and Rimuru's three strongest subordinates.

Originally the sole prince of an ogre village, Benimaru had flame-like crimson hair, black horns and iconic tear-shaped red markings beneath his eyes. After evolving into a kijin his build slimmed to that of a lean young man and his skin lost its ogre tint. Once hot-headed, he matured under Rimuru into a calm, cunning commander, though he remains a battle maniac who longs to test himself against the strong.

When his village was razed by an orc army, Benimaru fled with a handful of survivors, including his sister Shuna, and attacked a masked majin he mistook for the culprit. Overpowered and then offered refuge, he and his companions accepted names from Rimuru, evolved into kijin, and swore permanent loyalty after the orc threat was crushed.
