Blood Sea Ancestor
Description
The Blood Sea Ancestor was a demonic-path Gu cultivator of ancient renown and the founder of the entire Blood Path. Rising from a mortal of poor aptitude, he clawed his way up over eight hundred years to become a dreaded authority of the demonic path, his name recorded in history for the ease with which he took lives.
Limited by a shallow aperture, he became obsessed with researching the fusion of Gu worms, creating the recipes for Bladewing Blood Bat Gu, Blood Frenzy Gu and the Blood Guillotine before the terrified righteous path finally hunted him down. He scattered thousands of inheritances across the world — and it was one of these that Fang Yuan chanced upon, gaining the Bladewing Blood Bat Gu and beginning his rise as a blood-path cultivator in his first life.
It is eventually revealed that the Blood Sea Ancestor was no independent figure at all, but a clone of the mighty Giant Sun Immortal Venerable — one of many threads by which that Venerable's designs reach across the ages.
