The next day, the Witch Trial is held for Omega, overseen by Nananna and the Town Hall, while Palmyra acts as Omega's attorney. Despite her arguments, Edmon countered with his supposed knowledge of the Witches, and Omega's chatter did not help. Colette spoke up and claimed she believed things would not go as the council said, as people would begin to notice that the whole event seemed off, which resonated with the townsfolk. Because of this, Palmyra claimed there was a conspiracy, which Edmon fought against, asking for Nananna's assistance. Because she sided with the town, Lilac and Shion believed her to be part of the conspiracy, and they decided to use their dream arts to influence the people's mental states. Palmyra then claimed the council was using the Witch rumors to get rid of inconvenient people, which Edmon also fought against, though he was quickly silenced when she stated she had heard it herself from a council member and declared there was no Witch. Unfortunately, Omega claimed otherwise.
