Description
The Holfart Royal Academy is the kingdom's flagship school for noble youth and a thin slice of scholarship commoners. It teaches magic, statecraft, etiquette and Armor piloting; in practice it functions overwhelmingly as a marriage market enforced by the matriarchal court's customs.
It is also the literal setting of the original otome game's central narrative: heroine Olivia arrives on scholarship, meets the Crown Prince's clique, and the engagement-breaking ball becomes the kingdom's most public scandal in a generation.
Leon Fou Bartfort attends grudgingly — third-son enrolment is compulsory — and ends up rewriting the academy's social order from inside it. By the time he leaves, the institution has been forced to acknowledge that 'mob' students are not as expendable as its faculty assumed.
