The Road Home & Orsted
Description
Having brought Eris home, the companions cross the Central Continent. At the Red Dragon's Jaw the Dragon God Orsted blocks their path: at the name of the Man-God he effortlessly defeats Ruijerd and Eris and deals Rudeus a mortal wound, only to restore him to life on the whim of his companion Nanahoshi.
Reaching the emptied Fittoa Region, the travellers part ways: Ruijerd leaves to seek his kin, while Rudeus faces one last shock in Roa — the fate of Eris, who soon vanishes from his life for years.
Timeline
- Chapter 59Chapter 52: "Rice"
At the Red Dragon's Jaw, Orsted crushes the companions and mortally wounds Rudeus for his link to the Man-God.
- Chapter 60Chapter 53: "Kingdom of Siluone"
Nanahoshi persuades Orsted to heal Rudeus, who survives, shaken by his own helplessness.
- Chapter 61Chapter 54: "The Absence of God"
In emptied Fittoa, Ruijerd parts from Rudeus and Eris to search for surviving Superd kin.

Rudeus brings Eris home; soon she leaves him without a word, leaving a lasting heartbreak.
