Description

The daughter of Paul and the maid Lilia, born on the same day as her half-sister Norn as the fruit of her father's affair. Lilia, in Rudeus's debt, devoted her upbringing to a single purpose — that Aisha would one day wait upon her brother — and taught her everything she herself knew.

Appearance

As a child, a pretty, spirited girl. Lilia predicted, not without pride, that with age her daughter would acquire "a figure that men find to their taste," having inherited her mother's curves.

Personality

A born prodigy: already at the age of six she reasoned and acted in ways beyond an ordinary child. Sharp, quick, and a touch cheeky, she grasped others' intentions on the fly. Her mother had drilled into her from an early age that she would serve Rudeus, which at first made the girl rebel, regarding her brother as a pervert.

Behind her liveliness lay a calculating mind: at their first meeting she pretended not to know that Rudeus was her brother, in order to test whether he could be trusted. As she grew up, she became the household's most reliable pillar and took charge of all the affairs of the mercenary corps.

Story

After the Teleport Incident, Aisha and her mother ended up on Begaritt; they were saved by Rudeus, who was traveling under the guise of "Kainushi." The six-year-old Aisha helped the party with her wit and tested her brother: she asked to be taken along, to "save her from a pervert" — when in fact she had long known who he was and was testing whether he was worthy of trust. At their parting, she promised to meet her brother again one day.

Later Aisha joined Rudeus's household in Sharia and ran his house together with her mother Lilia. When Rudeus founded the Rudo Mercenary Corps, he essentially entrusted all its affairs entirely to her — Aisha became his advisor and manager. According to the Asura Kingdom reference work, she married in time, and her life became the basis for the book written by Norn, "The Torments of a Genius: Aisha Greyrat."

Trivia

Canon fixes the name as "Aisha," not "Aysha" (the source translation text contains "Aysha").

Rudeus believed that Paul's good genes shone through most vividly in Aisha.

Her writer sister Norn dedicated a separate book to Aisha — "The Torments of a Genius: Aisha Greyrat," published by the Rudo Mercenary Corps.
