Ruby is Frey's first love and the work's concealed 'true' heroine, first met volunteering at an orphanage. Her System is the 'Path of Pretender,' a mirror of Frey's own False Evil. Frey cherishes her above every other heroine.
Her deepest secret drives the endgame: just as Frey Raon Starlight is the true Hero, Ruby is the Demon King — a revelation that upends the Hero Party and reframes the entire conflict. Her elder-sister bond with the unstable Lulu and her escort Vener anchor much of her arc.
