Kania

Kania is the Starlight family's butler and a Main Heroine — a warlock condemned by the world (short black hair, black suit, white gloves), taken in from the streets by Frey's father for her magical talent. A curse gnaws at her life and only stabilizes near the Hero's successor, so she cannot leave Frey's side.

Frey holds her two weaknesses — her condemned nature and her curse — and menaces her precious younger sister to keep her hating him, though that sister is secretly the key to curing her. Early on, Frey's 'False Evil's Intuition' repeatedly flags Kania's attempts to poison his food.
