Generous

Generous is a deity revered by the Edda, the world's supreme, ruling race. Introduced in chapter 33 by the Edda countess Megadia, the god is described as having purple hair and six purple eyes; every Edda worships Generous as a matter of course. In chapter 196 the Eldorado-house Edda Munieka confirms plainly that Generous "is the god of the Edda," and that although the god has devout worshippers (like Narcissus), Generous does not govern charm, love, or any such domain. A vast ruined great temple dedicated to Generous forms the deepest chamber of the dungeon Wof explores; at its heart stands a statue of a white-clad girl with purple hair and purple-blue eyes, one arm rendered as the cosmos itself and surrounded by floating translucent orbs.

The god's presence in the plot is felt chiefly through the eponymous Relic, a "pseudo-deification Relic" that Wof gains from the temple statue as his fourth Relic. Activating it turns his hair purple and mixes purple into his blue eyes, morphing his gauntlet and letting him imitate the god's power. It is one of several god-imitation Relics in the world (parallel to Fenrir, the white-wolf god-relic borne by Juicy of the Tasan line). The Relic manifests the statue's own attributes: (Phantasmagoria), a swarm of orbs that fire the erasing power (Vanish), and (the Cosmos Arm), which absorbs any attack and strikes back with its stored force. It carries a strict cooldown, a limitation that nearly costs Wof his life against the Clown. Together with the Vanish-adapted Oreparts knife, these components form the six conditions for the god-tier constraint Relic (Banishment Line), which erased the Clown from all of past-and-future spacetime and carries an absurd cooldown of some 5.67 billion years.

Because he wields this Relic, Wof is perceived as "the Return of Generous" and treated as a demigod or half-god — a vessel of the god. Others, awed or terrified, address him as "Generous-sama." The god is powerful enough that beings speak of "Generous's nine authority Relics". One striking consequence: the divine sword that is Generous's beloved — a weapon-god who regards swords as "women" — is so possessive of the one it believes to be Generous that it lays a curse on Wof making it impossible for him to wield any sword in the world, past or future, jealous of him touching "other women."

Wof himself repeatedly insists he is "not Generous, not a god — just Wof, thirteen years old." The god functions in the narrative less as an active character and more as a numinous, absent divinity whose inherited power, iconography, and reputation shape how the Edda, cultists, and enemies react to Wof, and whose Relic is central to his combat identity and his most catastrophic feat of power.
