Description
Ziel of the Wastelands is a grim, green-horned sacred artist who walks the challenging Path of the Dawn Oath. Once one of the youngest Archlords ever and the leader of his own Dawnwing Sect on the Iceflower Continent, he was a rising elite among elites.
Everything changed when the Weeping Dragon Dreadgod and the Stormcaller cult descended on his people. Trying to save his fleeing disciples, Ziel was caught by the Sage of Calling Storms, who deliberately mutilated his spiritual core and stitched it back together wrong — leaving his spirit feeling as though it were shredded by glass and dropping his power to a fraction of its former height.
Left with chronic pain and a burning hatred of all Dreadgod cults, Ziel is withdrawn, blunt and world-weary, yet he keeps striving to help others despite his suffering spirit. Taken in and slowly healed by Eithan, he becomes an ally and friend to Lindon's group, working to reclaim the Archlord strength that was stolen from him.
