Description
Little Blue is a Sylvan Riverseed, a rare natural spirit born not from a dead sacred artist but from vital aura gathered in a place of perfect balance. Lindon took her from the Heaven's Glory School in Sacred Valley in the first book, and she has been bonded to him ever since.
When first found she is barely the size of a finger — a vague, blue, human-shaped seed — but over the series she grows more defined, developing arms, legs and expressive features and deepening in color from robin's-egg blue to rich sapphire when strong. After contracting with Lindon she grows to about a foot tall.
Cheerful, playful and kind, Little Blue is compassionate, brave and stubbornly loyal, able to read Lindon's spirit and sense his moods. Riverseeds are prized because they can work with power of nearly any aspect, and Blue's gift for refining, purifying and harmonizing madra makes her invaluable to Lindon and his friends.
