Ryan Baruch
Description
Ryan Baruch is the second Dragonblood Warrior of the Yulan continent and a member of the Baruch Clan, making him one of Linley's ancestors. A muscular, handsome man, he was a Saint on the Yulan Plane and later became a Deity after moving to the Infernal Realm.
In the year 4690 he defeated and subdued a Saint-level Golden Dragon in the Mountain Range of Magical Beasts, earning the title "Golden Dragonrider Saint." Because of a Saint's long lifespan, he did not marry or father children until he was over 700 years old; his Dragonblood Warrior successor, Hazard Baruch, was born in the year 5360.
First honored in Hogg's telling of the clan's glories, Ryan later appears in person among the Yulan Branch of the Redding Clan. Jovial and fond of a challenge, his long dormancy is rekindled when his descendant Linley finally arrives, and he helps affirm Linley's place among their kin.
