Hillman
Description
Hillman is the captain of the guard of Wushan Town, a retired soldier and Rank 6 warrior forged through life-and-death struggle. Sturdy and covered in old battle scars, he is the close friend and sworn younger brother of Hogg Baruch, and the Baruch boys call him "Uncle Hillman."
A believer in a solid foundation and relentless hard work, Hillman trained the children of Wushan Town — including Linley's generation — from a young age, hoisting a massive boulder each morning to inspire them. It was Hillman who talked Hogg back from despair after Lina's kidnapping, and who first among the family learned of Linley's magical beast Bebe.
When Hogg died, it was Hillman who delivered the news and his ashes to Linley. To keep Linley's coming vengeance from endangering the family, he moved his whole household to the O'Brien Empire to protect and support Wharton, delivering him the warblade 'Slaughterer'. He lived out a long life among the Baruch Clan, dying happily of old age after seeing both young masters rise to greatness.
