Dylin

Dylin is a Suanni Lion who was imprisoned by Beirut for over 5000 years alongside his sons. After luckily achieving his freedom, he led magical beasts below the deity level to gain faith and food for his family by allowing them to rise up against humans in the year 10000 of the Yulan calendar, inducing a grand change in the history of the Yulan continent.

He is straightforward, but also a subtly sadistic prankster and a natural glutton. He views only those who are strong or worthy of his respect as fellow individuals, excluding his own family, while regarding those weaker as prey to be slaughtered. His dark experience in the Necropolis made him more realistic than his earlier overconfidence as a Divine Beast, and he carries a deep fear of Beirut.

Dylin is a deity-level Divine Beast of the Yulan Plane, a Heaven Devouring Beast known as a Suanni Lion, who was imprisoned by Beirut after angering him by using his innate ability to obtain Divine Sparks for his sons. He was imprisoned for over 5000 years before Linley's birth, and was later unknowingly freed by Linley when the latter broke a sealing formation to obtain the Bloodviolet sword from within the Mountain Range of Magical Beasts. He once had five sons: two died in the Gebados Planar Prison and one died on the eleventh floor of the Necropolis of the Gods, leaving only two alive. On the first day of the year 10000 of the Yulan calendar, he led a massacre coinciding with the Yulan Festival that later came to be known as Apocalypse Day, together with ten Saint-level magical beasts.
