Kvar Beste
Description
Kvar Beste is the living sword wielded by Anne. On contact it devours darkness, Blessing, and magic—a power called Gluttony. Being alive, it chooses its own master, so the right to bear it had to be won in a duel. Over five hundred years ago the hero Shudjin, who defeated the Demon Lord, created it—and the sword is in essence the sealed Demon Lord; in the real world Syril forged it.
Its power unfolds through Releases: first Gluttony, second Tyranny, tamed by Anne in the blade's soul-world, and a third that would turn the wielder into a Demon Lord but demands a soul as sacrifice. Anne's signature technique with it is Zangetsu and its heavy variant.
