To help foster the next generation of craftspeople, Lady Rozemyne suggested that her Gutenbergs bring their chosen disciples and successors on the trip to Kirnberger.
Though Sead is not as skilled a smith as Johann's disciple Danilo, Zack judges him to have a personality very well suited to mediating between his more introverted colleagues and the Kirnberger smiths, and so chooses him to travel to the distant province in his stead while he prepares for his wedding.
