Description
Luitpold, Hannelore's retainer, presses Hannelore to put in a good word for Eduard as he seeks to marry into Ehrenfest. However, Hannelore's recommendation alone might not be enough for his marriage to be approved. Luitpold says the sooner he knows where he stands, the better, in order to decide his plans and inform Aub Dunkelfelger. This suggests he may be an older student soon to be graduating.
