Stardust is a specially formulated performance-enhancing drug designed exclusively for Hunters, the superhuman individuals who fight against monsters emerging from Врата. Its primary function is to temporarily expand a user's internal mana reserves, granting a significant surge in magical energy that directly translates into heightened combat prowess.

When ingested, Stardust rapidly permeates the Hunter's circulatory system, targeting the mana pathways and forcing them to accommodate a larger-than-normal flow of energy. This effect is immediate but short-lived, lasting only for a brief window before the body's natural regulatory mechanisms return mana levels to baseline, often leaving the user with a transient sense of exhaustion.

The drug was created through a joint effort between Lee Minsung, a prominent researcher within the Корейская Ассоциация Охотников, and Tiel, an expert from overseas specializing in arcane pharmacology. Their collaboration combined advanced biochemical engineering with esoteric knowledge of mana amplification, resulting in a compound that can safely (within limits) overcharge a Hunter's inherent capabilities.
