Partner Armor is the Old Humanity Armor Cleare supplies to Marie Fou Lafan once their bond is established. It is markedly sleeker and faster than Leon's brutish Arroganz, designed as a counterpart unit in the same way Cleare was designed as a counterpart to Luxion.
It gives Marie the only real edge her household has. The Five Idiots's combat skills are not enough to win a serious modern engagement; their financial security relies almost entirely on Marie's ability to bring an Old Humanity Armor to a fight nobody else expects.
Its existence also makes one of the series' running points: Old Humanity prepared partner units for a reason. The AIs were not built alone.
