Cleare

Cleare is a second Old Humanity artificial intelligence: a small sphere with a single luminous eye, designed as a counterpart unit to Luxion. Where Luxion serves Leon, Cleare attaches herself to Marie Fou Lafan, who blundered into a different buried Old Humanity facility looking for something to give her an edge.

She is bright, enthusiastic, perceptibly more empathic toward New Humanity than Luxion is, and treats Marie's household as an interesting research subject she has elected to keep alive. She and Luxion bicker constantly in a way that suggests very old siblings.

Cleare is one of the running confirmations that Luxion is not unique: the buried legacy of Old Humanity is larger than Leon ever wanted to know, and the other Masters who stumble across its keys may not have his restraint.
