Soarina

Soarina is the Saint of Kaso, one of the seven great saint-saviors of the continent of Idragira. She brings comfort to those she could not save and speaks in a calm, flowing voice, as if singing over the dead. Her power is the very embodiment of the miracles the Holy Kingdom of Light prides itself on; on the scales of war she even holds an advantage over the witch-calamity Erakino, beyond the reach of her puppet-making spells.

Yet Soarina is strangely unfeeling: a cardinal's open insults do not touch her at all — not because she is above them, but because she simply does not care. Behind the image of a gentle savior hides a detachment, an almost doll-like emptiness, that makes it hard for others to grasp what stirs within her.

In a grim world where evil witches, dark gods, and blind faith collide, Soarina is a double-edged figure: a saint whose light brings salvation, yet whose indifference makes her a mystery no less unsettling than the darkness she opposes.
