Eternal Nations

'Eternal Nations' is a dark fantasy 4X nation-building strategy game that Takahiro played through his days on a hospital bed in his previous life. It was his one solace before death — and it is that world, reproduced down to the smallest detail with startling realism, that receives him after his reincarnation.

In the game, dozens of distinctive races and nations clash, each with its own leanings and bonuses — from dark elves to pseudo-humans — while migrants, refugees, and hero-units lend it color and depth. Nations grow through technology and elemental magic, wage war with hero-rulers, and strive to conquer the world; evil nations like Mynoghra play by special, eschatological rules.

For Takuto, knowing 'Eternal Nations' is not mere nostalgia but a treasure map in a ruler's hands: he knows the mechanics, units, races, and paths of development in advance. But reality proves wider than the game — the rules do not match in everything, and the differences hold both unheard-of opportunities and deadly traps.
