The Sichuan Tang Clan is a mighty righteous clan that rules the city of Chengdu and is famed throughout murim for its hidden weapons and poisons. Their sale gives the clan considerable wealth that other sects lack. It may not shine at tournaments, but it is fearsome in war and renowned for never forgetting a grudge. At its head is the Poison King Tang Chokkhon, and his heir is Tang Soran.
The Tang Clan lives next door to the Emei Sect and often visits Mount Emei, while in Chengdu it holds feasts and gatherings for the younger generation and hands out food to the Beggars' Sect. After the incident with Wi Cheongsan, the Poison King convenes the Murim Alliance and leads the clan to Shaolin. In the war against the Demonic Cult, the Tang Clan joins forces with the Alliance to recover Tang Soran's body.
