Suriel

Suriel, called the Phoenix, is one of the Abidan — the cosmic Judges who watch over the countless Iterations of reality. As head of the Restoration Division she wields the power to return a broken system to prime condition; she is said to be the only being capable of restoring an entire world at once.

Ethereal and awe-inspiring, Suriel appears in a seamless suit of liquid white armor, flaming blue wings at her back and the burning "Mantle of Suriel" trailing behind her like a river of light. Her luminous green hair drifts weightlessly and her large purple eyes are inscribed with rings of script that let her read the flow of fate.

Though her role is vast and impersonal, Suriel changes Lindon's life directly: at the very opening of the series she halts to show him a vision of Sacred Valley's coming destruction and leaves him with a parting gift and a purpose, setting the entire story in motion. Durable almost beyond destruction and skilled in instant travel, she embodies the Abidan's mandate to preserve order against chaos.
