Lathander is a proud, radiant greater god directly bound to the sun, respected by good deities and despised by evil ones. Leylin’s devouring of the sun catastrophically cripples him, reducing him instantly to a lesser god. Despite participating in strategic discussions with the pantheon, he ultimately dies—slain by Leylin during the final phase of the war.
