Holy City

The Holy City of the Purgatory World is one of the largest and most ancient centers of power in the demonic territories. Unlike the sacred capitals of the divine pantheons, this Holy City serves as the administrative, military, and ritual heart of the Demons of Pride, of Wrath, and of the main noble factions of the layers of the Abyss. Towering citadels of black stone, rivers of molten soul-flame, and a crushing demonic might define its appearance. It is at once a refuge for the higher demons and a brutal trial in which only the most powerful survive.
