Beelzebub

Beelzebub is one of the Seven Archdevils, the oldest and most powerful rulers of Hell, who embodies the sin of Gluttony. In the demonic hierarchy of the Warlock of the Magus World, he holds a place among the highest lords of the underworld, alongside Lucifer, Satan, Leviathan, Mammon, Asmodeus, and Belphegor, and is considered one of the key figures in the struggle for dominion over the lower planes of existence. As the archdevil of Gluttony, Beelzebub embodies an insatiable hunger: the desire to devour without limit the flesh, souls, strength, and very essence of living beings. His power manifests through countless swarms of demonic insects, flies, maggots, and other creatures of decay, that serve him as an army, as eyes and ears, and as an instrument of corruption for everything he touches. For this trait he is often called the Lord of the Flies, and his presence in any world is accompanied by plagues, decomposition, and an insatiable hunger among those who fall under his influence. His name is spoken with caution even among the most experienced Beyonders, for attracting the attention of an archdevil is tantamount to becoming entangled in games that escape all mortal comprehension. Like the rest of the Seven, Beelzebub does not act directly without reason; nevertheless, his servants, cults, and creatures are permanently present in the shadows of events, guiding the course of history toward what pleases the lord of Gluttony.
