Barbara is the Saint of the Church of the Great Serpent, who serves as the chief mortal representative of Leylin's divine avatar, Kukulkan. She is one of the earliest and most devoted believers, having risen from the status of an ordinary young woman to become a figure of enormous religious influence. Her unwavering faith, natural charisma, and sacred authority make Barbara the principal vehicle for spreading Leylin's religion across the northern continent.
