Hmm, last night I said I was stuck on writing, but as I was thinking things over, my thoughts ran wild. I didn't solve the problem with this stretch of plot, but I managed to connect several later developments that I hadn't smoothed out yet. In other words, aside from figuring out how to bridge this arc into what comes next, the rest of the plot threads are finally coherent. Even if I still get stuck on details and character development, I won't have that feeling of being completely lost for ages. This is just in time to get ready for the extra chapters at month's end and start of next month.
Let me think a bit more and work out this stretch of story completely. Updates at seven tonight and eleven-thirty. I won't fall behind on chapters — on that front, my reputation is pretty solid. The five extra chapters I promised and the two make-up chapters are all done~
