* Bai means "white, blank, clear, bright, plain, snowy, unannotated, arctic, gratuitous" (白). * Zhicen means "annals, mark, aspiration, record, sign, ideal, will, keep in mind/bear in mind, write a footnote" (志) (chi/zhi) and "high hill" (岑) (cen).
