River of Tears

The River of Tears was described as a vast and seemingly boundless river flowing across multiple regions of the Dream Realm, forming an independent region with its own collection of bizarre mysteries and a thriving, though lethal, ecosystem.

It originated from the great waterfall of the Moonriver Plain, called the Weeping Goddess, and emptied into the misty shores of the Stormsea in the south.

Historically, it served as a crucial waterway connecting the Citadel Cities of the Song Domain, a role that became even more important as those cities expanded.

The river supported civilization in its basin through the movement of heavily armored vessels, such as the scarred, huge stronghold ships of the West, which carried goods, resources, people, and information across its perilous waters.
