Description
Old Humanity was the technological, egalitarian civilisation that ruled this world before the current era. They built AIs, warships, Armors and orbital-grade infrastructure, and ran a society in which men and women shared rights and political weight.
They lost a long war against New Humanity — the magical, matriarchal lineage now dominant — and were systematically wiped out. The victors imposed the matriarchal arrangement that became the foundation of Holfart and its neighbours.
Most of the world has forgotten Old Humanity ever existed. What remains is a scatter of buried bunkers, dormant AIs (Luxion, Cleare, Ideal) and warmachines whose specifications still outclass anything New Humanity has built. When those bunkers wake up, the world's balance of power changes overnight — usually in Leon's favour.
