Description
Crossing to the Millis Continent, Rudeus foils the abduction of a Holy Beast and Beast-Race children from Doldia Village, nearly paying for it with prison over a misunderstanding. In the Great Forest he learns the dark past of his sword-master Ghislaine.
In the capital Millishion he is at last reunited with his father Paul, who leads the Fittoa search party. After a bitter quarrel, father and son reconcile, and Rudeus learns for the first time the full scale of the disaster and his family's fate.
