Man Huzi
Description
Man Huzi is an exceptionally tall cultivator with a curly yellow beard. Having reached the Nascent Soul stage but unable to break through further, he was nearing the end of his lifespan and sought Life-Prolonging Fruit within the Heavenvoid Halls so that he could keep cultivating.
He wields the Heavenbearing Devil Arts: inside the Halls he effortlessly demolished the ancient guardian puppets, and used Lightning Absorption to nullify a fatal blow. Within the Inner Halls he joined forces with Han Li, helping him through the trials — for instance by gifting a Glacial Ice Pearl to counter the heat of the “Path of Fire.”
Later, after Han Li freed the Bone Sage from captivity, Man Huzi entered into an agreement with the Sage to conspire against the Devil Dao master Zenith Yin, remaining one of Han Li's notable allies during that stretch of the story.
