Sanguines

Sanguines, or the Blood Race, are what people usually call vampires. They live very long lives, drink blood, and sleep in coffins. They are usually born with the power of Sequence 7 of the Moon Pathway and can convert humans into their kind by using excess characteristics; the sign of becoming a mature Sanguine is fully grasping their power. When Sanguines worship the Moon, they refer to their ancestor Lilith, whose authority was the moon, not the Primordial Moon.
